Start with a jar of Matcha.

One jar will make about 20 cups and is a great way to start down the path of your morning Matcha.

Water is important!

When making matcha keep in mind that getting the basics right can mean the difference between a good cup of matcha and a great cup of matcha! Filtered water will remove any flavor based contaminants from the brew water base and give you the cleanest most pure matcha experience.

If your water is too hot, you will burn your matcha!

Matcha Green tea is best brewed at around 175-180 degrees. If your water gets to hot it will burn the matcha and create a bitter taste that is undesirable. The easiest way to avoid this is a temperature controlled water kettle. If you're on a tight budget a basic food grade thermometer will let you know when your water is ready.
